A Bodhrán player for more than 20 years and teacher of the instrument for the last 10, Gavin is an experienced, skillful and respected percussionist in Irish Traditional Music. Noted for both his steady rhythm and bursts of solo virtuosity, Gavin has performed in a semi professional capacity, worked as a session musician and is a regular player in Belfast traditional music sessions.
The Bodhrán classes are often over-subscribed. Please enrol on registration night to avoid disappointment.
