The Tutor:
Conor Woods, from Trillick Co. Tyrone, is a traditional box player renowned for this technical and melodic music playing. Playing the box from a young age he was heavily influenced by the highly detailed, fast playing of Joe Burke contrasted by the smooth and rhythmic playing of Joe Regan with its sparing use of ornamentation. His own style now lies somewhere between the two. Conor is an experienced and knowledgeable teacher and regular winner at Fleadh Competitions.
The Workshop:
This workshop for intermediate and advanced players will consist of finger work, ornamentation and base work. Tunes will be taught by ear with notes of the tunes provided before the workshop if required.

You will receive a Zoom invite and instructions by email before the workshop. You must have a reliable internet connection to access this event and must be able to access and adjust your Zoom audio settings on your device.
Cost and booking:
Registration is £15 or £10 for current members/students of BelfastTrad (to avail of discount enter the code MEMBER on checkout).
